Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a maintenance technician for Tacoma, WA properties. You will perform apartment and property maintenance duties to uphold high standards of customer service and curb appeal.

A valid driver’s license and ability to read/write English are required. Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry, HVAC, and preventative maintenance, as well as handling emergencies and maintaining the work order system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds as directed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, door/lock repair and tile work.
• Conduct preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, elevator, and more as needed.
• Maintain work order system and ensure orders are completed to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with property emergencies and coordinate with leadership on issues.
