Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Seattle is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle apartment and property upkeep, ensuring high standards of customer service and curb appeal. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs, oversee work orders, assist with emergencies, and work with residents and team to maintain safe, well-maintained communities.

A valid driver's license, basic math, and strong communication are required; HS diploma and 1+ year in property management or related field

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as needed.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness and identify issues.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods) and communicate with maintenance leadership.
• Observe and promote safety and risk management per local and company rules.
