Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Technician II in Woodbury, MN to maintain the community and equipment per company guidelines. You will complete make-readies, preventive maintenance, service requests, janitorial tasks, and help keep hazards to a minimum.

The role requires teamwork, problem-solving, and excellent customer service. Experience in building maintenance or skilled trades is preferred, with EPA-CFC strongly preferred and EPA-LBP required for older properties.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable experience.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems preferred.
• EPA-CFC Certification is strongly preferred; EPA-LBP certification required for properties older than 1978.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled, while maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy by effectively completing the make-ready process.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the community.
• Utilize reasonable safety measures and precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
