Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Technician II to support our residents by keeping the community and equipment in excellent condition according to company guidelines. You will complete make-readies, perform preventive maintenance, handle service requests, and assist with janitorial duties to maintain a hazard-free environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in building maintenance or similar trades, strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, and certifications such as EPA-CFC

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems and multi-task.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable experience.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems is strongly preferred.
• EPA-CFC Certification is strongly preferred; EPA-LBP required for properties older than 1978.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy by completing the make-ready process (move-out/move-in inspections, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repairs, preventive maintenance).
• Assist in maintaining appearance and cleanliness of the community (grounds, amenities, exteriors, common areas).
• Utilize safety measures to maintain a safe work environment.
