Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our residential community. You will perform make-readies, preventative maintenance, and service requests while ensuring safety and quality in all tasks. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to company standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in building maintenance or skilled trades and familiarity with apartment maintenance systems. EPA-CFC certification is preferred; EPA-LBP is required for older properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable field.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems (strongly preferred).
• EPA-CFC Certification preferred; EPA-LBP certification required for properties built before 1978.
• Ability to work well in a team and to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled, while maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy by completing the make-ready process (move-out/move-in inspections, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repairs, and preventive maintenance).
• Assist in maintaining grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas to be clean and debris-free.
• Use safety measures and precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
