Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Technician II to help maintain our residential community per company guidelines. You will complete unit make-readies, conduct preventive maintenance, and handle service requests while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires teamwork, problem solving, and experience in building maintenance or similar trades. EPA-CFC certification is preferred, with EPA-LBP required for older properties.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems and multi-task.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable experience.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems, or similar is strongly preferred.
• EPA-CFC Certification is strongly preferred; EPA-LBP certification required for properties older than 1978.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled, while maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy by completing the make-ready process, including inspections and basic repairs.
• Assist in maintaining appearance and cleanliness of the community, including grounds and common areas.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety measures and precautions.
