Job summary

Waterton's Service (Maintenance) Technician II plays a key role in maintaining our community's physical condition and equipment, following company guidelines to keep residents safe and satisfied. You will complete make-readies, perform preventative maintenance, handle service requests, and assist with janitorial duties to sustain a hazard-free environment.

You’ll work in a collaborative team, solve problems, and ensure records are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented with ability to collaborate in a group environment.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or comparable experience.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology and systems preferred.
• EPA-CFC Certification strongly preferred; EPA-LBP certification required for properties older than 1978.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy via make-ready process, including inspections and various repairs.
• Assist in maintaining appearance and cleanliness of the community, including grounds and common areas.
• Follow safety measures to maintain a safe work environment.
