Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Council Tower in St. Louis, MO. The role covers maintenance across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots, with a focus on resident satisfaction and technical proficiency.

The position includes diagnosing and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call rotations. Prior CAMT or EPA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair in areas including appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
• Complete service requests and repairs per procedures; prep vacant apartments for occupancy and market readiness.
• Perform maintenance service orders as part of preventive programs and inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal, snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours based on a pre-determined schedule and need.
