Job summary

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for Stratford Commons I & II in St. Louis, MO.

The role focuses on hands-on maintenance of multifamily properties, ensuring safe, clean, and well-functioning communities for residents. Ideal candidates will have strong repair skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance, with HVAC/EPA certification preferred and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Multifamily apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders accurately and promptly.
• Perform general repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and building systems.
• Make-readies and unit turns per standards and deadlines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections of units and common areas.
• Diagnose issues and implement repairs or recommendations.
• Assist with property grounds, mechanical rooms, and maintenance shop.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance calls as part of on-call rotation.
• Maintain records of work orders, repairs, and inspections.
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and Fair Housing guidelines.
