Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multi-family community. You will troubleshoot, repair, and service building systems, appliances, and related equipment while delivering high-quality service per LMH standards.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, trades proficiency, and comfort with two or more trades. On-call duties, driving between properties, and safety compliance are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ related experience required.
• Intermediate level understanding of basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, appliance repair.
• Certifications preferred: HVAC and EPA.
• Excellent communication with coworkers, managers, vendors or residents.
• Proficient with small hand and power tools and basic machinery repair.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to regional locations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs on building systems and appliances (plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, electrical).
• Perform installations and preventative maintenance in homes and common areas.
• Complete resident-reported repairs within 24 hours.
• Handle on-call service requests and emergency calls.
• Maintain and update service requests using Yardi Mobile until closed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and LMH SOPs; operate tools safely.
• Travel to different locations for work and training as needed.
