Job summary

Liberty Military Housing in Virginia is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multi-family community. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install building systems to meet LMH quality standards, ensuring safe, reliable homes for military families.

The role requires two or more years in related trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, appliance repair) with on-call availability and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in building maintenance or trades.
• Experience across electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, appliance repair is expected.
• Certifications for HVAC and EPA are preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work with residents and teams.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools; ability to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs on building systems and appliances.
• Perform installations, service repairs, and preventative maintenance in homes and common areas.
• Complete resident-requested repairs within the required time frame (24 hours).
• Maintain and update service requests using Yardi until completion.
• On-call service and emergency work as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and LMH policies.
