Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Maryland to diagnose and repair building systems, complete service requests promptly, and keep residents’ homes in top condition. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks and basic carpentry while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires on-site work at our Owings Mills community, with rotating on-call duties and a focus on delivering exceptional living experiences for residents.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical repair.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation each month.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents to provide good customer service.
• Ability to read policies/procedures, including maintenance and safety policies.
• Knowledge of PPE and safe chemical handling and SDS documentation.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, and operation sequences.
• Familiarity with paint types and painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systems.
• Completes service requests in line with standards and timelines.
• Ensures vacant homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Assists with interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
