Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring vacant apartments are rent-ready.

The position requires on-call rotation, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills. You'll join a team dedicated to maintaining high-quality living environments and safety standards across our communities.

Qualifikationen

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule in rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to communicate with team members and residents to provide customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies and procedures (e.g., Key Control Policy, Turnover Policy, Maintenance Emergency policies).
• Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies and read Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Knowledge of PPE and proper usage.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, locations and operations.

Aufgaben

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes assigned service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly; conducts turnkey work as required.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance on apartments.
