Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Washington, DC to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks, ensuring timely service requests and move-in readiness.

You will perform preventative maintenance, assist with painting, and uphold a strong safety culture. A valid driver’s license and ability to rotate on-call are required, with prior apartment maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
• Ability to communicate with team and residents
• Ability to read and understand maintenance policies and SDS
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and painting tools

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry and other systems
• Completes assigned service requests in a timely manner
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready
• Conducts preventative maintenance on apartment homes
• Assists in interior and exterior painting
• Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions
• Performs hot works within company standards
