Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Hanover, MD to join our team. This full-time role is 40 hours per week and offers the opportunity to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems while delivering excellent resident service.

You will perform preventative maintenance, contribute to safety, and help ensure apartments are rent-ready. A valid driver's license and 2–3 years of maintenance experience are required, with on-call rotation as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to participate in on‑call rotation monthly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and residents.
• Knowledge of SDS, PPE and safe handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems and related areas.
• Completes service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs preventative maintenance on apartment homes.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting as needed.
• Maintains safety culture by following all policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works such as brazing, soldering and welding.
