Job summary

JES Holdings is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to sustain our multifamily properties. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit turns to keep residents' homes in excellent condition.

The role requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues, with a focus on safety and quality. Travel between properties and after-hours on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building operating systems.
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Regularly troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC as part of unit turns and preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit make readies ensuring timely completion; painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed.
• Perform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to pick up supplies from area vendors while legally operating a registered and insured vehicle.
• Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all delegated tasks.
• Travel to and participate in regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
