Job summary

Waterton Service (Maintenance) Technician II role located in Lisle, IL, focuses on keeping the community in top condition through unit make-readies, preventive maintenance, and timely service requests. The position also covers janitorial duties to uphold a hazard-free environment.

You will work in a team, solve problems, and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems while adhering to safety standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with apartment maintenance tech or similar is strongly preferred.
• EPA-CFC Certification.
• CPO Certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as scheduled, while maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare apartments for occupancy by effectively completing the make-ready process including inspections and repairs.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the community including grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas.
• Utilize safety measures to maintain a safe work environment.
