Job summary

Waterton Service (Maintenance) Technician II supports our mission to provide a great place to live by maintaining the community and equipment per guidelines. The role includes unit make-readies, preventive maintenance, service requests, janitorial duties, and ensuring a hazard-free environment.

Key focus areas include teamwork, customer service, and reliable repairs across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems to prepare apartments for occupancy and protect resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration in a property services setting.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent customer service and resident-facing skills.
• Experience in building maintenance, skilled trades, or equivalent.
• Experience with apartment maintenance technology or similar systems preferred.
• EPA-CFC certification strongly preferred; EPA-LBP certification required for pre-1978 properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs promptly and professionally.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate records.
• Make-ready apartments for occupancy, including inspections across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and appliances.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of community spaces and grounds.
• Follow safety practices to ensure a safe work environment.
