Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Laurel, MD team. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues to keep apartment homes in top condition.

With 2–3 years of hands‑on experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule, you will help ensure timely service requests, rent-ready turnover, and safe, welcoming communities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Strong customer service and ability to read policies.
• Knowledge of PPE, safety procedures and basic cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and related systems.
• Completes service requests timely and ensures rent-ready apartments.
• Performs preventative maintenance and assists in painting as needed.
• Maintains safety culture and follows all safety policies.
