Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Laurel, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our on-site team. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances while keeping up with preventative maintenance and safety standards.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, on-call rotation, and opportunities for career growth as we maintain/upgrade our apartment community and deliver exceptional living experiences.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work on-call rotations and provide customer service to residents.
• Must read and understand policies including safety and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with SDS, PPE, and proper chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and related systems.
• Completes service requests promptly and to company standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and minor carpentry/painting as needed.
• Adheres to safety policies and maintains a safe work environment.
