Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform maintenance and repairs across apartment homes in our Washington-area portfolio. You will diagnose HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance issues, complete service requests promptly, and ensure units are ready for occupancy while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and residents.
• Familiarity with safety policies, SDS and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and major appliances as part of routine maintenance.
• Complete service requests and repairs per standards in a timely manner.
• Ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready and perform turnkey work when required.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on apartment units.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow Vivmark safety policies.
• Coordinate with other staff to schedule maintenance tasks.
