Job summary

Mayfair Management Group in New Mexico seeks a highly motivated maintenance technician to join our apartment community. You will handle preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance, including grounds, custodial tasks, and basic A/C work.

Requirements include owning basic tools, ability to read and follow instructions, and strong communication with residents and staff. Weekend/on-call OT may be required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic understanding of general maintenance and skilled trades.
• Experience with carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and appliances is preferred.
• Familiarity with make-readies and some A/C work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance on the apartment community.
• Maintain physical grounds and custodial tasks.
• Read, interpret, and follow instructions and governmental regulations as applicable.
• Communicate effectively with residents and other employees.

Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties aimed at maintaining and enhancing the apartment community. Ideal candidates must possess an aptitude for general building maintenance, custodial & grounds will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of your assigned apartment community. You will be responsible for all aspects of the property's maintenance including but not limited to the physical grounds, preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance. Must have a basic understanding and knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances, make-readies, and some A/C experience.
