Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Service Technician I to perform routine maintenance and repairs in a multifamily community in the San Diego area. The role focuses on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and other trades to uphold home quality and resident satisfaction.

You will respond to on-call requests, complete tasks within 24 hours when possible, operate hand and power tools safely, and document work orders in Yardi Mobile while communicating effectively with residents and team

Qualifications

1+ years of related maintenance experience.
Experience in two or more basic trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair).
Ability to operate hand and power tools; basic electrical/carpentry/painting repair skills.
Strong communication with team, vendors, and residents.
Basic computer skills; mobile device proficiency.
Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and appliances.
Apply skills in two or more trades to ensure quality and safe homes.
Complete assigned maintenance tasks within LMH standards and timelines (including occupied units).
Handle on-call requests and respond to emergencies.
Maintain and close service requests in Yardi Mobile.
