Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance and repairs across a multifamily community in San Diego. You will operate building systems, ensure safety, and deliver quality service to residents while adhering to LMH standards.

Minimum one year of maintenance experience with basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or painting skills is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and be available for on-call and after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
• Beginning level understanding or experience in two or more basic trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc.
• Working knowledge of appliances.
• Competent use of small hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate a mobile device/PC.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and appliances.
• Apply basic skills in two or more trades to ensure quality maintained homes and community.
• Perform routine service repairs and preventative maintenance in homes and common areas.
• Complete resident-requested repairs within the required time frame (24 hours).
• Report maintenance concerns to supervisor and document in the system.
