Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Rockville, MD is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, ensuring top-condition of the community.

You will promptly complete service requests, keep vacant homes rent-ready, perform preventative maintenance, assist with painting, and uphold a strong safety culture. This role includes on-call rotation and resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work on-call rotation.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members.
• Ability to read and understand policies and SDS; PPE knowledge.
• Knowledge of emergency systems and basic painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring and more.
• Completes service requests and repairs in a timely manner per standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready; perform turnkey work as required.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in interior and exterior painting.
• Maintain safety culture by following policies and reporting hazards.
• Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
