Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems across our apartment communities. You will perform preventative maintenance, turnkey work, and support on-site operations to keep homes rent-ready and residents satisfied.

The role emphasizes safety, on-call rotation, and collaboration with team members and residents.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, electrical and plumbing knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to participate in an on-call schedule in rotation.
• Strong communication with team members and residents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs in line with company standards and timelines.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready in a timely manner and performs turnkey work as needed.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance on apartment homes.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture by following Vivmark safety policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding per company standards.
