Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Baltimore, MD, to drive maintenance excellence across properties. You will oversee complex repairs, mentor junior techs, and ensure safe, reliable living spaces for residents.

The role emphasizes HVAC, plumbing, electrical knowledge, and the ability to manage preventative maintenance while coordinating with teams to minimize downtime and maximize resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance know-how.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• HVAC (CFC certifications required or willingness to learn).
• Ability to work on-call as part of a rotation.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members for good service.
• Familiarity with safety policies, PPE, and hazardous communication standards.
• Knowledge of emergency systems and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and other maintenance areas.
• Organize and complete work orders and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure vacant apartments and garages are rent-ready in a timely manner.
• Mentor and supervise Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular basis.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain safety culture and adhere to safety policies.
