Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support apartment properties with routine and emergency maintenance, ensuring safety and curb appeal. You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC, maintain work orders, and interact professionally with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or property management experience.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record with current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment and key track system.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality.
• Must complete Avenue5 housing/diversity training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Address a wide range of apartment maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and buildings to maintain safety and cleanliness and identify issues.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call maintenance assignments.
• Promote safety and risk management in line with rules and regulations.
