Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance needs while delivering top-tier customer service and curb appeal.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and other maintenance tasks, perform preventative maintenance, inspect properties for safety, and assist with emergencies. Compliance with safety rules and professional image is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field preferred.
• General maintenance and basic carpentry skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard, cabinet, door/lock and tile work.
• Proactively perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to quality standards.
• Inspect grounds and facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Assist with emergencies and communicate issues to leadership.
