Job summary

Greystar is seeking aMaintenance Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas to meet safety and quality standards. The role includes completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include inventory tracking, safety compliance, and collaboration with property management. The position requires EPA refrigerant certification and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications required (Type 1/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance following safety standards and codes.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Track materials and inventory; document work for tickets and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, amenities, and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
