Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical condition of our properties, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring safety and quality. You will diagnose issues from service requests, complete make-ready tasks for vacant homes, manage inventories, document work, and assist with routine property inspections.

EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required; OSHA training is a plus, and a

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate vehicle on property.
• OSHA safety training or awareness.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Access materials and track inventory, returning unused items and informing of re-order needs.
• Document all service work clearly and promptly for proper record-keeping.
• Support grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting, and light maintenance.
• Help reduce costs by using parts and materials efficiently and avoiding waste.
