UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a temporary Maintenance person for Bayshore Estates Community to perform groundskeeping and repairs across community-owned homes and lots. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to UMH standards in daily tasks.

The position is full-time with overtime opportunities; requires a valid driver’s license and experience in home repairs and heavy equipment. Training and stability are provided within a 50-state footprint of communities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Broad range of home repairs, general plumbing, grounds maintenance, and operation of heavy equipment.
• Snow plow experience.
• Prioritize safety in all duties and attend periodic safety trainings.
• Time management and ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive UMH vehicles to inspect common areas daily.
• Repair and maintain community-owned homes and lots.
• Maintain community grounds (mowing, weed eating, leaves, snow).
• Keep work areas clean and safe; manage waste and spills.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely.
• Assist with new home installations as needed.
