UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance staff member for our Collingwood Community in New York. This full-time role focuses on groundskeeping, repairs, and maintaining community-owned homes and lots to uphold UMH standards.

You will drive community vehicles, perform inspections, operate power tools, and follow safety procedures. Overtime and weekend work may be required; the position is non-exempt with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Experience in home repairs, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Snow plow experience required.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect common areas and community-owned homes and lots.
• Repair and maintain community homes and lots.
• Maintain grounds: mowing, weed eating, snow removal.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and safe, with proper disposal.
