Job summary

YES Communities in Las Cruces, NM is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and well-maintained. You will interact with residents, handle service requests, and assist with home set-ups while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires a valid in-state driver’s license, HOA experience a plus, and ability to operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. OSHA PPE and safety procedures are essential in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify and resolve leaks within the community.
• Aid in new home delivery and setup and report warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Uphold OSHA standards and maintain PPE as required by state law.
