Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe and well-maintained. You will interact with residents, respond to service requests, and help with inspections while ensuring timely completion and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, home refurbishments, and assisting with new-home delivery. OSHA compliance and vehicle operation are part of the role; a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and safety-conscious approach required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or pool operation experience a plus.
• OSHA certification or training a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on rental properties and grounds.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and safe.
• Complete work orders promptly while upholding safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and address issues.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup; report warranty work.
• Deliver notices as requested by management and participate in safety meetings.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain PPE as required.
• Maintain safe winter conditions with snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
