YES Communities in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will handle preventative maintenance, assist with new home deliveries, and respond to resident requests with a focus on safety and quality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, asset upkeep, and adherence to OSHA standards. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are preferred, with HVAC/electrical/plumbing and pool operation experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation experience are a plus.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance and refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and safe.
• Respond to service requests and complete tasks promptly while prioritizing safety.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and report findings to management.
• Operate and maintain vehicles; follow OSHA standards and safety procedures.
