Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance, repair small-scale issues, and keep community grounds and facilities in top condition. You will help maintain irrigation, water systems, and safety of common areas while supporting residents and staff.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior maintenance experience is preferred and you must be comfortable working outdoors in

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
6 months of maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in temperature fluctuations.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on properties and equipment.
Keep grounds and facilities clean and safe, including streets and public areas.
Inspect irrigation, water meters, and well/sewer systems and perform minor repairs.
Assist with supervision of service contractors and move-in/out inspections.
Maintain community vehicles and equipment; operate safety procedures on-site.
