Job summary

Sun Communities is hiring Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities. You will handle repairs, grounds care, plumbing and electrical tasks, pool maintenance, and snow removal where applicable.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, adhere to safety procedures, and provide written reports. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of maintenance experience preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred (if applicable).
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain property integrity.
• Complete minor repairs to rental homes and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain grounds, remove trash, and ensure curb appeal.
• Drive snow removal on community streets and walkways as applicable.
• Maintain pools, vehicles and equipment; operate safely.
