Sun Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities. You will handle home and facility repairs, upkeep of grounds, and safe operations of equipment while delivering excellent resident service.

Responsibilities include trash pickup, snow removal, irrigation checks, water systems, and assisting with contractors. The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and independent or team-work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of maintenance experience in housing or related fields preferred.
• Ability to endure outdoor work and variable temperatures.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work independently or in a team.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment, and basic machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance of homes and facilities.
• Inspect and repair irrigation, water meters, and water-related systems.
• Keep common areas, streets, and grounds clean and safe.
• Snow removal on community streets and parking areas if applicable.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors and move-in/move-out spotting.
• Maintain pool, vehicles, and equipment as needed.
