Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of the community. You will perform semi-skilled maintenance, including repairs to building systems, furnishings, and equipment, and assist with landscaping, cleaning, and resident transportation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of maintenance experience. You will work with a team to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform varied maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tools and equipment used in building maintenance.
• Disassemble, move, and arrange furniture as needed.
• Review maintenance logs and respond to work orders promptly.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as directed.
• Prepare, repair, and paint interior and exterior surfaces.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and exterior grounds maintenance.
• Safely transport residents to appointments and maintain vehicle schedule.
