Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of building maintenance practices and materials.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building, equipment, and appliances.
• Safely operate tools and machines used in building maintenance.
• Order materials and manage calls; receive inquiries.
• Disassemble/move furniture within the community.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Paint surfaces and maintain exterior grounds.
• Basic electrical work, such as changing light bulbs.
• Transport residents in community vehicle as needed.
• Assist with safety drills and maintenance scheduling.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and other duties as assigned.
