Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building maintenance practices and materials.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Must be detail oriented and well organized.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk/bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tools and machines used in the maintenance trade.
• Order materials as directed; place and receive calls.
• Make repairs to building, equipment and appliances as directed.
• Disassemble and move furniture throughout the community.
• Check logs and work orders for prompt responses.
• Perform preventative maintenance as directed.
• Prepare and paint surfaces in the community.
• Maintain exterior grounds including landscaping and trash removal.
• Perform basic electrical work, including changing light bulbs.
• Transport residents in the community vehicle to appointments.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance schedule and resident safety drills.
• All other duties as assigned.
