Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tools and machines used in maintenance/building trades.
• Order materials and handle communications as directed.
• Make repairs to building, equipment and appliances as directed.
• Disassemble and move furniture within the community.
• Review maintenance logs and respond promptly to requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance as directed.
• Prepare and paint surfaces in the community.
• Maintain exterior grounds including snow shoveling, landscaping and trash removal.
• Perform basic electrical work, including changing light bulbs.
• Transport residents in community vehicle as needed.
• Assist with community vehicle maintenance scheduling.
• Assist with resident safety drills.
• Other duties as assigned.
