Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC seeks a Maintenance Assistant to perform semi-skilled tasks maintaining building, grounds, equipment, and appliances under the Maintenance Director. You will safely operate tools, order materials, perform repairs, move furniture, and assist with safety drills.

This role requires teamwork and reliability in a community setting. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in maintenance, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of previous maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building maintenance practices and materials.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 50 feet.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tools and machines used in maintenance and building trades.
• Order materials and place/receive calls as directed.
• Make repairs to building, equipment, and appliances as directed by Maintenance Director.
• Disassemble/move furniture within the community.
• Check logs/work orders to respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
