Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose, repair, and complete work orders across maintenance tasks on a high-volume residential property.

Responsibilities include making-ready processes, inventory control, safety compliance, and collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications Type 1 and II or Universal.
• State and local jurisdictions certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, vendor coordination, and inspections.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and notify supervisor about re-order needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using tools/materials efficiently.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
