Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

You will handle maintenance requests, prepare units for new residents, manage inventory, and assist with safety inspections, reporting to the maintenance supervisor. Experience in building maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Performs preventive and routine maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities.
• Diagnoses defects, repairs, and documents work performed.
• Maintains safety and code compliance as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacants for leasing: pre-move inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors.
• Manages materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor on re-orders.
