Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Indigo 19 in Virginia Beach, VA. This role performs technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas safe, clean, and functional.

It is not a remote position and requires on-site presence. You will handle work orders, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage materials, document activities, and assist in grounds maintenance while adhering to safety policies and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities meet standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Ability to diagnose defects or problems and perform repairs per policies and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and create punch lists.
• Track inventory and requisition materials from maintenance department.
• Document service requests timely and accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts.
