Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, make-ready preparations, inventory, documentation, and assist in grounds maintenance, with occasional travel and a flexible schedule. Must hold EPA Type 1/2 or Universal, have a valid driver’s license, and comply with safety trainings.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/2 or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready preparations for vacant units, including inspections and punch list creation.
• Tracks inventory of materials and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Documents service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
• Assists in cost-control by repairing components rather than replacing parts when feasible.
