Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. You will handle work orders, complete make-ready tasks, manage materials, and document service activities.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license; on-site duties include grounds and common area upkeep, with some travel and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, per property size (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Accesses and obtains materials from maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Completes documentation to track service requests.
• Assists in grounds and common area maintenance, including cleaning and painting.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where possible.
