Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose defects, complete make-ready tasks, track inventory, document service requests, and maintain grounds and amenities. A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a property golf cart where applicable.
• All certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.

Responsabilités

• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, pressure washing, and painting as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

• Completes assigned resident service work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspection, punch lists, vendors, supplies, maintenance tasks, and completed-work inspection.
• Tracks maintenance inventory, returns unused items, and notifies the supervisor of re-ordering needs.
• Completes service-request documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, pressure washing, and painting as needed.

Other Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and risk-management policies, training, and reporting requirements.
• May inspect contractor and vendor work for quality, scope, and specifications.
• Assists with routine property inspections and communicates physical needs to management.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Work a flexible schedule, including call during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Licenses or Certifications

• EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant-recycling certification for certified service technicians.
• All certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a property golf cart where applicable.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $38.00 – $40.00.
